With just your library card, you can reserve an e-pass and explore Louisiana’s rich history, vibrant culture, music, art, sports, and more, all at no cost!

How to Reserve Your E-Pass
Reserving your pass is easy:
- Visit the Check Out Louisiana e-pass reservation page.
- Log in using your library card barcode number and PIN (last 4 digits of your library card number).
- Browse available offers by date or venue.
- Click “Show first available offer,” then “Reserve a different date” to view all available dates.
- Select your preferred date and confirm your reservation.
- Print your pass before your visit and bring it with you!
Please note: Once a pass has been printed, the reservation can no longer be canceled.
Check Out Louisiana – Key Rules
- Passes are free for adult resident library cardholders.
- Patrons may reserve up to four passes at a time, and each museum offers a limited number of passes per calendar year.
- Access passes through the secure site hosted by the Louisiana State Library using your library card login.
- Passes may be printed or shown on your phone (museum rules apply; ID may be required)
- Passes are date-specific and valid only for that day.
- Each museum pass may admit a different number of people — check details before booking.
- A limited number of passes are available, so reserve early.
- If you can’t use a reserved pass and haven’t printed or saved it, cancel it so others can enjoy it.
